I've been learning to put things in my mouth for a while now. It's just what babies do when we learn to use our hands. It doesn't necessarily mean we want to be spoon-fed a bowl of mush. Think about it...Why would I give up snuggling and being held by mom while I eat for being strapped in a chair while food is shoveled into me?
That said, I got my first taste of "real" food the other day and to be quite honest, I don't see how you people with teeth do this three times a day:
I still don't understand what's so funny...
